Why is it important to attend the seminars?

The purpose of these introductory seminars is to help all participants follow a logical framework through which they can identify the cause of a disorder (structural, biochemical, or psychological-emotional) using Applied Kinesiology, and thereby determine the direction to take in the patient’s corrective therapy.

Dr. Jean-Pierre Meeresseman, D.C., Hon. D.I.B.A.K., President and founder of AIKA in 1988 and co-founder and Vice President of ICAK-Italy in 2006, graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has been teaching in Europe and around the world for over 40 years and is widely known for having discovered the relationship between dental occlusion and postural defects. After practicing for a short period in France, Meersseman moved to Italy, to Como, where in 1972 he founded the Chiropractic Center at the San Rocco Clinic. In 1990 he founded the JPM Chiropractic Clinic, dedicating himself especially to the field of sports, working for years with AC Milan and creating the MilanLab project, aimed at keeping football players and athletes healthy and improving their performance. During the 1980s Meersseman—together with Chiropractic in general—enjoyed great recognition in Italy from numerous figures in politics, entertainment, and industry who came to the San Rocco Clinic in Como for treatment. In the sports world alone, more than 100 world and Olympic champions were treated by Jean-Pierre Meersseman.

Dr. James Townhill, D.C., D.I.B.A.K., Twenty-five years ago, Dr. Townhill sustained an injury while playing rugby, which led him to seek chiropractic care. He was so impressed by the results that he decided to study chiropractic himself. Dr. Townhill began studying Applied Kinesiology in 2007 and earned his DIBAK in 2013. He is also a registered instructor with the International College of Applied Kinesiology. He regularly teaches courses for chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, and medical doctors.

The doctor’s passion is treating difficult cases and helping people find solutions to their problems. He has worked with several high-level athletes. In addition to teaching AK, Dr. Townhill also holds courses for equestrians to help them better integrate their movements with those of their horses. Dr. Townhill runs a practice in the Netherlands where he treats both people and animals.

Graduated in Sistemic Counseling in 2022. Graduated in Psychology and Neuroscience. From 2011 to 2024 he was the osteopath for Varese Basketball (A1)

The course will be presented in Italian by Dr. Meersseman and Dr Vetralla with translation in English while the parts of Dr. Townhill and Dr. Peter Crisera will be in English with translation into Italian.
